Collecting for your gallery

Neopets are online pets that are free and a lot of fun!!! Earn Neo-points (NP) by playing games so you can buy stuff for your Neopets (with Neopoints), like pets for your Neopets, called Petpets.

Getting Started

When collecting for your gallery, first decide what you’re going to collect (of course!) You could collect a certain kind of item (books, plushies, etc.) or choose a theme for your items (Spyder theme, Petpet theme, Altador items, etc). Choose something you like. It wouldn’t be smart to make a Spyder gallery if you have Arachnophobia (fear of spiders). What’s your favorite place in Neopia? You could use that as your theme. Do you have a favorite Petpet? Use that as your theme. Do you just like plushies? Collect them.

Your Budget

Now, having a large gallery isn’t cheap. Getting the items isn’t the hard part. It’s upgrading. I have a Size 19 gallery and it can hold 95 items. If I wanted to upgrade to Size 20, for 100 items, it would cost 3,800 NP. That adds 5 items to your gallery. (When you start, it’s only 400 NP to add 5 items, but it increases each time by 400 NP!)

Do you collect items?

If so, here are some tips on how to get those special items (:

1. Normal Neopet shops are a great place to start because of the nice prices!

2. Shop Wizard is a great way to get items for your collection because of the cheap prices!

3. The Money Tree is a good place to get free items! Only it is hard to get an item!

Now you know how to get items for a collection :)

Well, that’s about all we can tell you about collecting for your gallery. We can tell how to decide what to collect, but we can’t tell you what to collect. We can give you NP advice, but we can’t give you the NP. What we’re trying to say is we can make you a page full of the best advice, but we can’t make your gallery.

Neopia: Places to go and people to see

Some places to go in Neopia are: Faerieland, Lost Desert, Tyrannia, Terror Mountain, Mystery Island, Neopia Central, and then there is the Haunted Woods, and DON’T and I say DON’T forget Kreludor! (Neopia’s moon)

Mystery Island

On Neopets there are different places you can go. Mystery Island is is just one of them.
Have you been to Mystery Island? If so, have you tasted the food? It’s magnificent! You should buy at least a piece of fruit if you are hungry, like a lemwart or a ripe bomberry. Don’t forget to go to Island Mystic. If you are up for an adventure go to The Lost City of Geraptiku. In Gerapitiku you can buy Petpets or if your really brave, you can go into the deserted tomb. That’s all we can fit here, so why not just pay a visit there? Travel safely!

Shanku

Another nice place is Shanku. It has Petpets, food, and healing herbs. You should go to the healing shop if your pet is feeling bad. If you need to get something to make it better, go to medical herbs. Try some of the food, it’s great! Oh, the Petpets are awesome!

Terror Mountain

One of my favorite places to go in Terror Mountain is the Snow Wager. You can get free items if he’s sleeping. He sleeps from 6-7 AM, 2-3 PM, and 10-11 PM.

Neopia Central

In Neopia Central you can go to the Money Tree, which is a tree that gives you free stuff if you click on the item you want fast enough. One other thing that you can do is see all the other shops and other users’ shops.

Faerieland

Some places to go in Faerieland are the Healing Springs where you can get
your Neopets healed. Another place to go in Faerieland is Wheel of Excitement where you have to pay to win good or bad stuff, and you can only play every two hours. You can also go to Faerie City which is a city in Faerieland.

The Lost Desert

A good place to go in the Lost Desert is the Fruit Machine. The Fruit Machine is a thing that you can do daily and it gives you free fruit and NP (Neopoints) but it mostly gives you fruit if it gives you any thing at all.

Tyrannia

One place I also like to go in Tyrannia is The Giant Omelet. The Giant Omelet is an omelet, so you can get free omelet added to you inventory.

Three word of advice

If you go to the Terror Mountain Summit you can get weird stuff, or go play the garage sale game and catch cool and weird stuff. You can also get your toy(s) at the toy repair shop repaired. Also at Krok Island and Fairy Land. Here are three words of advice:

1. Do not go and explore at the Haunted Forest and do not go to the carnival, and if you do go there, don’t spin the wheel of misfortune or any other game; they are a waste of money.
2. Don’t spend too much money because you will need it for food or a new Neopet. If you go to explore on the top menu then go to to the market place right above the map where it has the names of places, then find the marketplace and go there, look for a big pot and click on it, then click on your pet till it has the word “bloated” under your pet(s).
3. If you want NP (Neopoints) go play games. The top 50 games are the best, or you can play other things, or you can go to the Money Tree.
